The Trio + 1
|
Harry Potter
Age: 39
Occupation: Currently Unemployed
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Despite being idolized throughout the wizarding world, Harry has managed to lead a fairly normal life. If a normal life involves regularly tracking down and capturing dark
wizards. He happily married Ginny Weasley and the two have three children, James, Albus and Lily. The two boys both attend Hogwarts, with Lily starting this year.
Harry never finished school, but managed to become Head of the Auror Department anyway.
The terrorist attack that blew up the Ministry was pinned partially on Harry, along with the escapes of Medria Darkwood and Thomas Drake from custody. Following his sacking
by Gerald Buffington, he remains unemployed despite the newly minted criminal status of the last Minister of Magic. His success at the Quidditch World Cup has
made him a hero in Britain once again, but he blew the winnings from the game helping Future Rosie and Bart (from the future!) get a start in the present.
|
Ron Weasley
Age: 39
Occupation: Sales Clerk at Weasley Wizard Wheezes
Blood Status: Pureblood
Ron may have worried about riding on Harry's fame for years, but he earned his way into the Auror Department for his own magical prowess - demonstrated at the Battle of
Hogwarts - despite having also never finished school. Ron married Hermione Granger shortly after she finished her extended schooling, and they have two children, Rosie and Hugo.
Ron has issues with the latest Muggle technology to be adapted to the Wizarding World and has been unable to figure out how to tape a Quidditch Match. Fortunately, his children set up
the VCR to record the Quidditch World Cup well before he missed the end because he was fighting terrorists. Ron has been working at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes since being fired from the Ministry, but is more than ready to find a more interesting job again.
|
Hermione Weasley
Age: 39
Occupation: Currently Unemployed
Blood Status: Muggleborn
Not satisfied to follow the path of her two best friends, Hermione went back to Hogwarts to finish her N.E.W.T.S. and took additional schooling besides. After working for several
years successfully promoting House Elf welfare (and marrying Ron), Harry and Ron talked Hermione into taking a job heading up the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, which
contains the Auror Office. Working in the same Department afforded many excuses for the trio to investigate Dark Wizard trouble together.
Unfairly blamed for lax security policies leading to the bombing of the Ministry by Muslim Wizard terrorists, Hermione was forced to resign her position. Ron, supporting his wife, followed suit. Since the Quidditch World Cup, Hermione's been able to
catch up on her reading, but finds the lack of a job frustrating, especially with Hugo about to join his sister at Hogwarts.
|
Ginny Potter
Age: 38
Occupation: Senior Quidditch Correspondent for the Daily Prophet and Assistant to the Head of Magical Games and Sports
Blood Status: Pureblood
Ginny graduated from Hogwarts a year after the Battle of Hogwarts and married Harry about a month later. At Harry's encouragement, Ginny tried out for the Holyhead Harpies
professional Quidditch team and ended up playing with them for 6 years as both Seeker and Chaser. She retired shortly before the birth of her and Harry's first son, James. Later, writing for the Daily
Prophet's Sports Section, Ginny was heavily involved with Viktor Krum's push to adopt Time-Rules Quidditch throughout the world's Quidditch Leagues.
Ginny's assault charges for punching the Minister of Magic were dropped due to his escaping from Auror custody and being currently missing. With Harry still unemployed, she managed to get a second part-time
job with the Ministry that leaves her with little free time and not a lot more money to show for it.
|
The Students
|
Albus "Al" Severus Potter
Age: 14
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Blood
House: Gryffindor
Albus is like a miniature version of his dad, save the glasses and problematic early childhood. Albus is good natured and well-behaved, but his older brother can bring out his
troublemaking side.
Albus, along with his best friends (Rosie and Scorpius), has already seen more danger than most kids his age. They've fought a giant monster, inferi, and dark wizards. All in all, pretty mundane for a Potter.
Albus recently revealed an obsession with Lord of the Rings. He's an encyclopedia of knowledge regarding the books. He enjoyed the "Silmarrillion, Part 1," but he's really looking forward to part 2 and part 5.
|
Rose "Rosie" Weasley
|
Age: 13
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Blood
House: Hufflepuff
Rosie inherited her mother's brains, but got some of her father's neuroses, and has a tendency to panic slightly in stressful situations. Thus, despite numerous qualifications to join
any other house, she managed to land herself in Hufflepuff. Whether she (and the rest of her family) can learn to accept this remains to be seen.
Rosie's neuroticism has only been increased by her first year at Hogwarts, but being briefly turned into a half werewolf helped a little. She tends to be as forgetful about schoolwork as her dad,
but is luckily quite good at figuring out the tough problems on the fly, like her mom. Her hair is currently suffering from numerous curses.
Rosie went through a harrowing kidnapping ordeal that scarred her future self for life. Present Rosie got off more favorably, thanks to the "timely" intervention of the time travelers. The incident did force her
to confront her true feelings for Scorpius, though, and the two are now in the "like like" phase of their young relationship (lots of snogging).
|
Scorpius Malfoy
Age: 13
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Pureblood
House: Slytherin
Though the spitting image of his father, Draco, Scorpius was brought up without the constant badgering of pureblood babble and love of dark wizards. As such, he greatly
resembles a normal kid. If anyone will give him the chance to show it.
Though picked on incessantly by James Potter, Scorpius has made fast friends with Albus and Rosie. It helped that they fought a giant monster together. Scorpius is an ambitious boy,
and hopes to make people see the Malfoys as a great Wizarding family again. But in a good way!
Scorpius survived the kidnapping event that killed him in the old timeline, and he got a redhead girlfriend out of it to boot. Still, he was forced to kill another human being, even if it was in self-defense. What the
effects of that event may have had on his young psyche have yet to be seen.
|
James Sirius Potter
Age: 14
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Blood
House: Gryffindor
James was named perfectly, for he is something of a mirror-image of his namesake, his late grandfather, James Potter. He's a sports and magic whiz and master troublemaker. James
idolizes his father and desires nothing more than to have an adventure of his own. And, as the latest inheritor of the Marauder's Map, he's not willing to just wait around. No matter
how much trouble he might get into.
James is a pro at nearly getting himself killed, like when he took on 4 dark wizards (including Voldemort and the Necromancer) at the same time. Fortunately, backup arrived swiftly. Though James
picks on Slytherins (and Scorpius especially), he's grown attached to his pet garter snake.
James is determined to take on the Tri-Wizard Tournament this year. He's certainly talented, but his tendency to goof off may hurt his chances.
|
Cherlette Hagrid
Age: 16
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Giant
House: Gryffindor
The daughter of Hagrid and Madame Maxime, Cherlette spent most of her younger childhood in France with her mother after Hagrid and Maxime's divorce. Hagrid hasn't seen her since she was
a baby, at Maxime's request.
A rather rebellious teenager, Cherlette skipped out of Beauxbatons mid-school year at age 16 to meet her father, under the pretense of arriving early for the Tri-Wizard Tournament. Though she appears
rather rough (and gigantic) on the outside and cares little about many rules (including underage drinking), she is generally a good person.
|
Mac Irdee
Age: 14
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Muggle-born
House: Ravenclaw
An Australian exchange student, Mac is James Potter's best friend, and fellow troublemaker. Though quite brainy, (he is in Ravenclaw) he finds more excitement following
his mischevious buddy around the school.
Mac hasn't had a line in quite awhile, but with the Tri-Wizard Tournament returning to Hogwarts this year, he'll surely have more to do.
|
Hugo Weasley
Age: 11
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Blood
House: Undeclared
The Weasley's youngest, Hugo is finally old enough to attend Hogwarts and get his own spot on the characters page. Hugo enjoys annoying his older sister and is best friends with his
cousin, Lily Potter.
|
Lily Potter
Age: 11
Occupation: Student
Blood Status: Half-Blood
House: Undeclared
Lily is a tomboy sort. She gets along quite well with her oldest brother, James, who she joins in pranking. Her best friend, Hugo, also enjoys joining in. She's learned rather advanced magic
before getting her first wand and enjoys photography.
|
The Muggles
|
Sheriff Ned
Age: 44
Occupation: Law Enforcement
Blood Status: Muggle
Red-blooded Texans, Sheriff Ned and his Deputy, Bart, were in England on a "Sheriff Exchange Program," a good-will operation hosted by the British and American
Governments as an experiment in different methods of law enforcement. As such, Sheriff Ned was alllowed to exercise whatever means he felt necessary to deal with criminal matters (at
least, within some reason). Ned also possesses a strange resistance to certain magical effects, specifically those that affect the mind. Memory modifying charms seem to have no
effect on him. (His Deputy, Bart, is not so lucky...)
3 years of working with wizards has seen a lot of action for the duo. Ned briefly became a half-werewolf, helped killed a monster, arrested dark wizards, fought terrorists (twice) and was blamed for many problems by the
Ministry of Magic.
Deported from England by the last Minister, Ned remains in Texas for now, "teaching them British exchange Sheriffs th' ropes."
|
Deputy Bart Rodriguez
Age: 23
Occupation: Law Enforcement
Blood Status: Muggle
Bart may be just a rookie deputy with no magic resistance at all, but the constant mermory charms he's been hit with haven't done any real damage. His brain am feeling good now.
Spooked easily, but not lacking in courage, the young Texan follows his mentor,
Sheriff Ned, wherever he is called. Even if that means being forced to become werewolf bait by dressing up as a Hogwarts school girl in a terrible wig.
Bart may be sorely put-upon, but he's a quick-draw, a good shot, and a stalwart Texan. He is currently in Texas with Sheriff Ned.

The Villains
|
The Necromancer, aka Horatio Haglenorth Hufflepuff
|
Age: Friggin Old (1500ish, by best estimate. Born shortly after Hogwarts was founded)
Occupation: Evil Wizard
Blood Status: Pureblood
A dark figure with dark designs, the Necromancer is a master of the Dark Arts, specifically those related to the creation of Inferi: corpses raised into unlife. He has commissioned
the aid of the Black Knight and the Mercenary for a scheme related to one of Voldemort's destroyed Horcruxes, the Diary.
The Necromancer's schemes have been developing for decades, if not centuries. He is the inventor and perfector of the Horcrux, at least one of which protects his own life. As such, deathly
magics have no lasting effect on him. A direct Avada Kedavra disabled him for less than a minute.
The illegitimate son of Salazar Slytherin and Helga Hufflepuff, he has long held grudges against his father, whom he blames for denying him his birthright. Through great pains, he finally opened
the storehouse of the Chamber of Secrets, and, with information gleaned from the passed soul of his father, is well on his way to perfecting a spell he has long sought...
|
Thomas Drake, the Black Knight
|
Age: 34
Occupation: Mercenary
Blood Status: Squib
A powerful armored warrior, the Black Knight is a master of magical enchantments. His plate armor is kevlar lined and enhanced with permanent Protego
charms, rendering him nearly as tough as a full-grown giant in combat. His shield is further imbued with special reflecting spells that can richochet back onto his enemies. His magically
sharpened sword can pierce most mundane magical defenses, as well as practical ones. Even more terrifying, he has mastered the feat of dragon-taming, commanding a full-grown
Hungarian Horntail into combat situations.
Drake is a squib, unable to cast any spells on his own. His wielded artifacts aid him in channeling ambient magic into objects, powering his artificing skills. Though he and his cohort Medria have been
overcome by Harry and company on several occasions, they have succeeded in hindering and wounding their foes long enough to achieve most of their goals.
Drake is currently in a bizarre relationship with Medria, that both of them are rather uncomfortable discussing in public.
|
Medria Darkwood
|
Age: 30
Occupation: Mercenary
Blood Status: Muggleborn
A Muggle-born who didn't turn her back on the world of her parents, Medria has incorporated Muggle equipment seamlessly into her masterful use of magic. She wears similar
armor to her cohort, the Black Knight, but carries a magically enhanced submachine gun rather than a sword. A blatant defier of magical regulations, she has criminalized Muggle
and Wizard alike, covering her tracks expertly. A native to the United States, she has travelled to Britain for unknown purposes, but is likely wanted by numerous Muggle law
enforcement organizations, who likely have little idea of her true nature.
Medria has enjoyed her tussles with Aurors, Harry Potter, and Sheriff Ned. The recent loss of her right eye to Harry's Sectum Sempra didn't distress her too much, but she does greatly
fear death. Though she has killed, it is generally not her first inclination to do so, far more enjoying the excitement of battle and the thought of being tops on someone's enemy list. In other words, she's two bludgers short of a Quidditch game.
Medria switched to Harry's side out of some twisted sense of fairplay when pirates were assaulting the ship. She's still bitter foes with him, of course. Her current greatest concerns include figuring out what the
hell she's doing with Thomas Drake and the impending horror of her 30th birthday.
|
Arcturus Ronolphin Cagney
Age: 43
Occupation: Werewolf Hunter, ostensibly
Blood Status: Werewolf
A man once bitten by a werewolf, Cagney slowly lost his sanity to his frequent transformations. He began to believe that lycantrophy was a gift, not a curse. As such, he began experimenting with ways to control his wolfish mind,
with rather considerable success. He can maintain his mind during his episodes, even wield a wand while in wolf form. His greatest obsession is with creating a pack of his own.
He has joined forces with the Necromancer, to what end, remains to be seen.
|
Ted Morely
Age: 26
Occupation: Formerly Star Quidditch Player
Blood Status: Pureblood
The former star seeker of the Chudley Cannons, Ted lost his place on the team and, possibly, in history when James Potter transfigured him into a water goblet for a week or so. Vengeance is surely on his mind, once he's sufficiently
finished drinking away the memories of being an inanimate object and being filled with many, many margaritas while Medria and Drake "did it" on the beach. One cannot unsee such things.
|
Sihr Junihad (Magic Holy Warriors)
Age: 27, 28, and 30
Occupation: Terrorists (one repentant)
Blood Status: Wizards of some kind
The three known members of the Magical Holy Warriors (Sihr Junihad), are also brothers. Ahmad (center) is the only one of the three to have revealed his name, though all three were taken into custody following their destruction of
the Ministry of Magic and the deaths of 167 people. Ahmad repented of his actions in the aftermath and turned on his brothers, aiding Ron and the kids in capturing his brothers.
Heavily skilled in transfigurations and evocations, the brothers have also made use of some form of channeled magic that they have used to amplify spells through multiple casters. This is what they used to destroy the Ministry.
The brothers were but the magical component of a greater Jihad stemming forth from their region and targeted upon "infidel" wizards. The ultimate goals of this group, beyond terror, remain unknown.
|
Supporting Cast
|
(Future) Rosie Rodriguez
Age: 23
Occupation: Gunsmith, Armorsmith, Blacksmith, and Retail
Blood Status: Half-Blood
A traveller from 10 years in the future, Rosie returned with her husband Bart to prevent a terrible future apocalypse. She is torn between breaking causality and actually doing what she came to do. She bears several scars, the results of torture during a kidnapping when she was 12.
Rosie moved back to England with her husband, Bart Rodriguez (the future one). With the help of Harry's Quidditch World Cup winnings, she started an Arms and Armor Shop with Bart, who can only work part-time due to his other obligations. The shop includes a Muggle area in front, and an "enhancing" area in the back.
|
(Future) Bart Rodriguez
Age: 33
Occupation: Inspector for Scotland Yard
Blood Status: Muggle
Older and now sporting permanent stubble, Bart (from the future!) fought the undead menace for some time. He doesn't understand all the whosits and whatsits of time travel, but he knows how it works in the movies. And he knows that those big damn heroes don't worry about paradoxes. Besides, somebody's got to save the day.
Not wishing to confuse his Muggle relatives with his sudden twinning, Bart moved to England with his wife, Rosie (also future version). He currently works for Scotland Yard, in an inspector capacity.
|
Draco Malfoy
Age: 39
Occupation: CEO of Malfoy Transoceanic Shipping, Inc.
Blood Status: Pureblood
With his parents retired (and put into comas following Riddle's resurrection), Draco Malfoy took over the family business, the Malfoy Transoceanic Shipping Company. The source of the Malfoy family fortune, the business fell on hard
times following the last Wizarding War as many businesses refused to work with the Malfoys again. Draco has struggled to rebuild the business from the bottom up, and restore the family name. His efforts have rubbed off on his son, whom
he has tried to protect from less savory influences, including his own dark side.
Draco married Astoria Greengrass, who was quite happy to be rescued by her husband from the Necromancer's Mirror Hogwarts. With his parents also restored to full health by the efforts of Harry, Ron, and Hermione (and with the budding relationship between
Scorpius and Rosie), Draco has become a nominal friend of our heroes, much to Harry and Ron's chagrin.
|
Arthur & Molly Weasley
Age: 69 & 70, respectively
Occupation: Head of the Department of Magical Research & Housewife, respectively
Blood Status: Pureblood
All their living children are living on their own now, but the Weasleys stay busy as grandparents, and, in Arthur's case, skirting the boundaries of magical research on Muggle
artifacts. With more time on his hands in recent years, and with helpful direction from Harry and Hermione, Arthur has attended some Muggle adult classes in technical matters and
has become something of a mechanic. He now is usually seen wielding his enchanted wrench.
Arthur and George Weasley set themselves to specially repairing Sheriff Ned's truck, enhancing it with a number of useful enchantments. Among other things, it can turn invisible and warp within Apparation conduits.
|
George Weasley
Age: 40
Occupation: Owner and Operator of Weasley Wizard Wheezes, and a dabbler in independent magical research
Blood Status: Pureblood
George may have married and had a kid, but that doesn't mean he settled down. Weasley Wizard Wheezes now operates in mulitple countries and George is dedicated to making sure it remains a success. He also enjoys entertaining
himself with new magical inventions. He hasn't given up on trying to uncurse his ear, thus far without success.
Despite his "curse-stacking" potion causing Rosie to briefly age to nearly 20 before reverting to mostly normal, George has avoided Hermione's threat to throttle him. He did not, however, escape the full body bind curse she left him in for a few hours.
|
Teddy Lupin
Age: 21
Occupation: Grad Student
Blood Status: Some part Werewolf
The grown son of Remus Lupin and Nymphadora Tonks, Teddy has started work for an Experimental Transfiguration company, bringing self-enchancement to you! He is dating Victoire Weasley, who doesn't mind the recent
discovery that Teddy genetically inherited his father's Werewolfiness. A natural werewolf and Metamorphagus combined, Teddy has gained considerably more control over his abilities and can now control his actions in Werewolf form.
|
Gerald Buffington
Age: 55
Occupation: Former Minister of Magic. Now a fugitive.
Blood Status: Half-Blood
A politician through and through, Buffington won election after Kingsley stepped down from office. Though he campaigned on "restoring sanity" to what he called a bloated defense budget, Buffington's primary goals have been reducing the number of Aurors
and enacting his domestic policies. He is a master of spin and his handlers have been doing their best to make him a hero with regards to the destruction of the Minstry of Magic to terrorists.
His attempts to "spin" the events at the Quidditch World Cup were less than successful, however. He fled the event, narrowing escaping capture by the guard trolls and remains on the lam.
|
Marcus Granby
Age: 36
Occupation: Secret Service, Acting Head Auror
Blood Status: Half-Blood
An effective combatant, though primarily the henchman of Buffington, Granby has seen a lot of success thrown his way. Following his rescuing of the Minster of Magic from the collapsing Ministry headquarters, Granby oversaw the capture of the
terrorists responsible and the extraction of the survivors. At least, that's how the Daily Prophet reported it. He is acting Head of the Aurors following the suspension of Harry Potter.
Despite his appointment by Buffington, Granby's been lucky in that nothing bad has happened during his watch. Thus, the Ministry likes him. For now, at least, he may be the permanent head of the Auror Office.
|
Stanley Barklebolt
Age: 38
Occupation: Auror
Blood Status: Pureblood
Barklebolt isn't the sharpest tool in the shed, as his "expert Muggle disguise" tends to demonstrate, but he is a good man and loyal to Harry Potter. He found the idea of Muggles being immune to mind magics terrifying, but has since worked directly
and effectively with Sheriff Ned. Barklebolt leads a 3-man team of Aurors, all of whom seem fairly competent at everything except dressing themselves.
Barklebolt has a son in Hufflepuff House at Hogwarts. He also holds the distinction of defying orders to help rescue survivors from the Ministry following the terrorist attack. He was wounded in the fighting, but recovered well and has been back in action for the last year.
|
Matilda Pensword
Age: 31
Occupation: Reporter
Blood Status: Half-Blood
A pushy, ambitious Reporter, Matilda Pensword works for the Daily Prophet's Newspaper and Live Edition. She especially enjoys tearing famous people down a peg or two, and will go to great lengths to get the story she wants.
|
The Teachers
|
Minerva McGonagall
Age: 93
Occupation: Headmistress of Hogwarts
Blood Status: Half-Blood
Though she is getting on in years, McGonagall remains as keen of mind as ever. She runs the school as she used to run her classes, tight, orderly, and disciplined.
|
Filius Flitwick
Age: 80s
Occupation: Professor of Charms
Blood Status: Part Goblin
Still the little smiling teacher of charms, Flitwick remains as he ever did, if not a bit older. He remains dedicated to staying on the Characters page in the hopes of one day getting a line of dialog. Surely it must be near! (In fact, it was.)
|
Rubeus Hagrid
Age: 92
Occupation: Care of Magical Creatures Professor, Gamekeeper
Blood Status: Half-Giant
Still working at his longtime home, Hagrid has barely changed, despite his growing years. He remains black-haired and cheerful. And the Ministry has come to just look the
other way (until something explodes) when it comes to the bizarre magical animal hybrids he's invented. Hagrid is still periodically visited by the love of his life, Olympe Maxime,
when she can get away from the Beauxbatons Academy.
|
Lee Jordan
Age: 40
Occupation: Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher
Blood Status: Pureblood
Best friend to Fred and George Weasley and staunch member of the D.A., Lee ran the Hogsmeade division of Weasley's Wizarding Wheezes for a few years before eventually
agreeing to take on the mantle of Defense Against the Dark Arts Teacher at Hogwarts, which he has held for a record-breaking four years. Lee's methods are sometimes frowned upon
by the other teachers, as he greatly enjoys teaching jinxes, hexes, and curses, so long as they aren't TOO dark. Lee is head of Gryffindor House.
Lee also took last summer to be the color commentator at the Quidditch World Cup. Where would Harry have been without his favorite announcer?
|
Neville Longbottom
Age: 39
Occupation: Herbology Professor
Blood Status: Pureblood
Compared to the awkward boy who also went to Hogwarts, Neville would be almost unrecognizable now. Worshipped by female students throughout the school, Neville is now
the head of Hufflepuff house (for reasons involving lack of any former Hufflepuffs currently at the school) and the Herbology teacher. Neville married Hannah Abbott, but they had a falling out after the first couple of years. He remains good friends with the
other former members of Dumbledore's Army. .
Nevill has been the subject of a few advances by Luna. Whether or not these have gone anywhere has yet to be confirmed.
|
Luna Lovegood
Age: 38
Occupation: Divination Professor
Blood Status: Pureblood
Luna only took Divination briefly while in school, but it didn't surprise many people that she was rather good at it. Even if most of her predictions were as ludicrous as the
articles in her father's tabloid. Luna was briefly married to the son of Newt Scamander, the author of "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." It turned out he didn't believe in Narglies.
|
The Potions Teacher
Age: Difficult to say
Occupation: Potions Professor
Blood Status: Shrug?
A part goblin, part human (maybe), and probably part something else, the Potions Teacher is a gruff, surly sort who nevertheless is good at what he does. He does consider it part of the job description to take points from Gryffindor.
|
Argus Filch
Age: No one is entirely sure
Occupation: Janitor at Hogwarts
Blood Status: Squib
Still as crotchety as ever, Filch continues to roam the halls of Hogwarts, along with his surprisingly still alive cat companion, Mrs. Norris.
