3/18/18:
Built a new computer this weekend! It will eventually replace the computer that I built during the How the Voldemort Stole Christmas Arc 8 years ago... but for now they are running side by side. I'm going to be plugging in a KVM switch so I can toggle the sound, keyboard, and mouse back and forth which sadly means I had to retire my ol' workhorse Windows 98 keyboard, as its PS/2 plug is not cooperating with the USB adapter I tried getting for it. This new keyboard feels a little weird still, but I suppose it will have to do!

For those curious, my old computer (And the one I'm still making the comics on for now) remains on Windows XP. Yes, it still works! But the new system is Windows 7 because once again I don't want to install the newest thing. On that old episode I linked, I think Windows 7 had just come out, though part of leaving it alone at that time was to avoid reinstalling everything, which worked out surprisingly well. (Also, Microsoft keeps changing the user interface for Windows 10 and it annoys me. Especially since they seem to be slowly removing the Control Panel entirely.) Anyway, the new comp is a AMD 6 core Ryzen processor (3.2 GHz), 8 GB of RAM, an SSD for the main drive, and a GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card. It boots in about 30 seconds. I like it.
