Made a bit of an assumption here, since Mr. And Mrs. Granger were never given first names directly in the books. They were, however, given the alternative identities of Wendell and Monica Wilkins when Hermione briefly altered their memories. So, the afore-mentioned assumption is that she only changed their last names and not the firsts. She wasn't
experienced with memory modification, after all.
Also, since the movies never fully addressed it, Hermione's erasure from her parent's memories was only temporary. She sent them to Australia for the duration of the war, then went and restored them to normal. (And probably had a bit of explaining to do, lol.)
